Matt & Jen's Honey
 Our beekeeping adventure began when Matt's family booked him onto a beginner's beekeeping course for his 30th birthday. It was something we'd talked about doing for a while, so I figured this would be a well-received gift! We attended an evening course with Vale & Download Beekeeping Association, whose members between them have 100s of years of beekeeping knowledge. We learnt from the best! By April 2018 we had our first nucleus of bees, which we transferred to our first hive on the teaching apiary.
Now two years in we are still very much beginner beekeepers learning on the job! We now have 4 and a half hives located on our allotment in Abingdon and we sell our honey (locally to avoid posting!), beeswax and a range of bee-themed gifts.
