Thame WI Christmas fair, 9/12/17

My first time at this event in Thame's lovely Town Hall. I think most people have done their Christmas shopping by this time of year because I always find December events to be unexpectedly quiet! Met some wonderful crafters and ate some delicious WI cake, which is always a bonus.

Amersham Artisans, Rowan's Garden Centre, 3/12/17

My first time at this event and I was chuffed with the amount of space allowed and the Christmassy atmosphere. Rowan garden centre and cafe is a beautiful independent business and I was very happy to buy my tree and do some Christmas shopping while I was there. A bit quiet due to all road signs being stolen (!) but thanks to those who did come along to browse and buy!

Amersham Artisans, St Michael's Church, 2/12/17

My first event with Amersham Artisans and lovely to catch up with many crafters from the area. Unfortunately a bit quiet as it didn't coincide with Amersham Christmas street fair as intended, but these things happen! I recognised several faces from Peterley last weekend, which is great to see locals supporting crafts events.

Peterley Manor Christmas market, 25-26/11/17

Another fabulous year at Peterley market organised by the wonderful Amy, surrounded by talented and lovely crafters, in a beautiful location. I wish all events were this good- it truly is the highlight of my year! Many thanks to lots of new and returning customers who made this the best year yet. Wild horses won't stop me coming back next year, if they'll have me!

Abingdon Traditional Craft Fair, 3-5/11/17

A spectacular event in a beautiful setting with lots of wonderful craftsmen and women- my best event of 2017 so far! Lots of noticeboards found new homes and I now have some serious making to do for my next event, which is exactly how I like it. I will definitely be back next year- as a seller or a buyer!

Berkshire Show, 16-17/09/17

My wonderful corner spot in the 'Shop for Something Different' marquee for the fourth year running at Newbury Show! A bit quieter than previously- I wonder if my success in previous years means everyone already has a noticeboard?!- but still an enjoyable weekend before jetting off to Sicily for two weeks!

Newbury Artisan Market, 30/07/17

I was super chuffed with my setup- I remembered all of my gazebo this time!- and the sun shone on us to start the day. Unfortunately the clouds came over, there were showers, and winds that had us all holding onto our gazebos. It might have been the storm forecast or actual weather that kept people out of town but, honestly I couldn't blame them! It was definitely a duvet day Sunday...

Fulmer Villlage Day, 1/07/17

A wonderful community event. Very well-supported and a great selection of stalls- the Indian takeaway was great!

Hurst Show & Country Fayre, 24-25/06/17

Another fantastic year at Hurst Show! I was super chuffed with my 3-sided setup this year, which held up well against the customary June showers (it always rains at this show!!). I'm starting to recognise show-goers and fellow stallholders now, despite not being at all local, so it was very nice to catch up with everyone over the weekend. Looking forward to year 5!

Newbury Artisan Market, 21/05/17

A fantastic first time at Newbury Artisan Market! Having only been back from fieldwork in Taiwan for 24 hours I was feeling quite the worse for wear, and almost gave up when half of my gazebo was missing. So glad I didn't though! Thank you to the lovely Tutts Clump Cider for lending me their spare gazebo, and to the family who asked me to make this beautiful window seat for them. I will be returning in September!
